DEPARTURE PROGRAM

We provide the following departure programs to international employees. Services will be requested by client company to assist their employee.

Send Pre-Departure email with “To Do” reminders addressing the following issues:

  • Confirming final departure date with company and movers.

  • Cleaning house/apartment; discuss expectations of property owner.

  • Provide referrals for cleaning services.

  • Arrange a walk-through inspection with manager or owner.

  • Providing resources and process for selling household items and car.

  • How to close bank account.

  • Cancelling club memberships, newspaper, subscriptions, AAA, etc.

  • Completing USPS first-class forwarding moving packet or online form.

  • Obtaining medical and dental records.

  • Discuss safekeeping practices for social security card and any credit cards.

  • For families with children: discussion with schools and preschools about departure, final day attendance, and obtaining copies of all school records.

  • Be available for phone and email support for questions and concerns.

In-Person Meeting Assistance:

  • Send Pre-Departure email as outlined above; provide continued support and assistance via email and phone, as above.

  • Visit to home; discuss lease-break clause and deposit refunds; discuss giving notice in writing and contents of letter; discuss cleaning expectations and conduct a preliminary walk-through of property.
