Tina Kreft-Tengblad

Tina Kreft-Tengblad is originally from Sweden and moved to Portland in 2001 with her husband and two daughters. She is a dual citizen of Sweden and US. Prior to moving to the US, she and her family lived in England for 6 years. She understands and remembers the challenges and the importance of having close assistance with all the practical issues families experience during the relocation period. Tina passionately enjoys helping newly arrived expatriate employees adapt to their life experience in the US. When she’s not assisting with settling-in, Tina also teaches English as a Second language, as well as teaching Swedish at Portland State University. She likes traveling, visiting her family in Sweden, walking her dog and making jewelry.

Nicky originates from England and has relocated twice. First in 1997 to Belgium with a new baby and a toddler and again 3 years later to Portland, which she now calls home. Now a US citizen with 2 adult children, Nicky has experienced both the joys and the challenges of family life after moving to a new country and fully understands the need for solid practical help. She is excited to put her experience to use by helping newcomers settle-in to the Portland area and begin their journey. With a background in nursing she now practices massage part-time from her home and in her spare time enjoys her family and friends, walking her dog in Forest Park, gardening and DIY projects.
